Originally from North Carolina, Joella & Anterio decided they wanted a destination wedding, and where better than beautiful Colorado?!
Both Joella & Anterio have always had a special place in their hearts for Colorado so when searching for a venue for their wedding day, The Manor House was the perfect fit. Joella told us they chose The Manor House because of the breathtaking wrap-around views of mountains and downtown Denver that perfectly showcase the beauty of Colorado for their guests to enjoy.
This Colorado lovin’ couple knew it was important to not only show-off everything that Colorado has to offer by picking a venue that displays Colorado views, but they also knew they wanted to incorporate a Colorado theme into the big day as well. They did so buy selecting Colorado- made beer for their guests to enjoy throughout the evening, as well as choosing Colorado-named tables, such as Garden of the Gods, St. Elmo Ghost Town, and Blue Columbine.
Joella had robes made for each of her best ladies that were monogramed with their names. Isn’t this such a great idea for you and your girls to wear to get ready in? Makes for some pretty fun and memorable photos as well!
It was important to Joella & Anterio that their guests not only enjoyed their wedding but had some time to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer as well. Here are some of the activities Joella & Anterio did with their out-of-town guests the week of the wedding:
Fourth of July Liberty Run & backyard BBQ
Joella: The Wednesday before the wedding we did the 4th of July Liberty Run in Wash Park, which was a 4 mile race that was in the morning. We had shirts made for the race that said “JoTerio Bash.” That evening we hosted a 4th of July BBQ at a six bedroom rental home that we rented out for the whole week for some of our closest family members & friends. The home had beautiful views of the mountains a downtown Denver.
White Water Rafting
Joella: On Thursday we went for a white water rafting trip in Buena Vista, Colorado (Echo Canyon Tours) with a group of our guests.
Rehearsal Dinner, Mani/Pedi, & Bachelorette Party Fun
Joella: On Friday we had our rehearsal lunch in downtown Littleton at The Tavern, which has beautiful mountain views. After lunch we had a mobil spa (Spa Divas) come to the rental house for mani/pedis and that evening we went out in Downtown Denver for the Bachelorette party in a thirty-two passenger SUV (Denver Limo). On Saturday some of our guests went to Coors Brewery while others did a downtown beer tour.
Not only was this wedding full of great, Colorado-inspired ideas, but this couple was absolutely adorable and sweet inside and out. The Manor House wishes Joella & Anterio a bright and happy future together and we hope you come say hello during your visits back to Colorado!
