The Wonderful World of Pinterest

Attention all brides out there: if you do not have a Pinterest account already, get one right this minute! Trust me, it is the PERFECT tool to plan a wedding!

No idea how to set up a Pinterest account? That’s okay, I’ll get you started. First step, go to Pinterest.com, and sign up for an account. Once you are emailed an invitation then the next step is easy… start pinning!

On Pinterest, there are category pages from where you can click a category such as Weddings, and endless pins (which are simply pictures) are feasted before your eyes! If you click on the photo, it will take you to where it came from (a wedding blog, website, etc.) from where you can get even more inspiration! Take a photo you love and “repin” it to a board, which is essentially categories within your Pinterest account. You can do simply a wedding inspiration board, or specify it in to different wedding categories (i.e. favors, decor, color scheme, etc.)

Unique Wedding Ideas

Wedit  is an amazingly unique wedding idea. They will send you 5 HD cameras 3 days before your wedding weekend. Pass these cameras around to selected wedding guests prior to the big weekend to record all of the festivities. Have someone collect the cameras for you and then return back to wedit for them to edit the footage into a video for you!  This allows you to capture moments from every part of the wedding: the rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, and the big day!
