“I Most Certainly Do”

An abundance of LOVE & HAPPINESS- that is what weddings are all about and Tristina & Connor’s wedding was exactly that! Tristina & Connor are one of those couples that you can’t help but smile when you see how happily in love the two of them are. Just take a look at their breathtaking wedding photos by Drake Busch Photography and you will see exactly what I am talking about. From the coral and gray color scheme to the DIY décor done by the bride herself, Tristina & Connor’s wedding was pinterest fabulous!… “I didn’t expect myself to be a DIY bride, but I ended up being the epitome of one! I had projects during the entire year of our engagement making everything from table numbers, to belts for the bridesmaid dresses. I think it really added a very personal touch to our wedding… even though it was stressful at times!”

Add in an unexpected snow-storm and this wedding is unforgettable! Many brides here at The Manor House ask if we have a back up plan to our outdoor ceremony site in case of bad weather. This is one of those wedding where “Plan B” was in action and Tristina & Connor’s ceremony moved to the upstairs ballroom inside the mansion. Tristina & Connor took the unexpected weather with an amazing amount of grace and did not let the ceremony change upset them. The last minute change not only gave them a gorgeous indoor ceremony but they also gained an unexpected first look, which turned out to be one of their favorite moment of their wedding day! :

“I think both of our favorite moment of the day was our first look. We had wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other, but because of the unexpected snow the photographer was worried about lighting for pictures later on. We chose to go ahead with a first look before the guests arrived and it was the best decision. It totally took all of our nerves away and it was a great moment to just be in love just the two of us! I couldn’t stop crying after seeing how amazing he looked. My second favorite moment was when we said “I do.” My uncle married us and when it was Connor’s turn to say I do, he said “I most certainly do” instead. It was the sweetest thing ever!”
