Katie and Tim had a beautiful classic Summer wedding that we loved being a part of. You could see the love in the room between family, friends and of course the happy couple.

What was your favorite Mr. & Mrs moment?

That is a tough question! We loved the entire day. Saying our vows in front of our loved ones was a pretty powerful moment. We also loved being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time.

What was your vision for your wedding?

Tim and I wanted to keep things simple and didn’t want to get bogged down in details; we wanted to keep the focus on our commitment to one another. I’d describe the feel of our wedding as timeless, natural, and organic. We wanted the natural beauty of the landscapes and the home to speak for itself, so we didn’t do much in the way of extra decor.

What attracted you to The Manor House?

First of all the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The major draw for us was the fact that it is a full service venue. Tim and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day; Kelley, Janae, and the Manor House staff were on top of it. We also loved that we had the entire property so if guests wanted to get away from the action of the dance floor they could relax outside or wander to the bar.

What kind of desserts did you have?

We had Gigi’s Cupcakes in Littleton. For our guests we had four different flavors of mini cupcakes. For Tim and I we had them do a six inch cutting cake in their Wedding Cake flavor (which is absolutely amazing!).

What was most important to you? Ceremony? Dinner? Dancing?

The ceremony. We wrote our ceremony ourselves and asked a close friend to read it. Katie’s brother read ‘[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in]’ by E.E. Cummings. It was a short ceremony (maybe 10 minutes), but we think it captured what was important to us and the commitment we were making to one another.
