Festive Winter Wedding in the Rockies

Here at The Manor House, we take the holidays seriously. The decorating starts the day after Thanksgiving and doesn’t stop until New Year’s Day. December is the most magical time of year at the mansion, so when we meet a client that shares our love for the holidays, we light up like a Christmas tree! ; )

Kathryn and Gerrick are that couple. Not only do they share a love for all things Noel, they both celebrate their birthdays in December. So when it came time to set a wedding date, they knew December was the month.

“I thought it would be so adorable and quite fun to spend the WHOLE month celebrating us, our love and Christmas,” says Kathryn.

The couple connected right away with The Manor House.

“When I saw photos of the way this place lit up at Christmas time, and the way every single room was filled with the wonder of Christmas,” Kathryn says, “I fell head over heels in love.”

We love the way Kathryn incorporated winter greens and white lights into the décor. Although there wasn’t as much snow on the wedding day as she had hoped for, these simple touches lend a magical wintry feel to this festive wedding.

“It wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful people that handled every moment efficiently and delicately,” says Kathryn. “The way they can do this multiple times a weekend and still make you feel like THIS is the most important thing they will do that day is a super power and a wonderful blessing.”

We just LOVE to hear from happy clients! Congratulations to these two lovebirds on their first wedding anniversary!
