If you’re visiting Colorado for the first time, you might be surprised by the weather. With an average of 300 days of sunshine each year, Colorado’s climate is remarkably pleasant. Thanks to all that sunshine, we get to host outdoor wedding ceremonies just about anytime of year!
Just days before their early November wedding at The Manor House, Durango couple Alex and Brad watched as heavy snow fell along the front range. At the rehearsal the day before the wedding, a blanket of snow covered the ceremony site. Although The Manor House offers an indoor ceremony option in case of inclement weather, Alex and Brad decided to stick to their guns and host an outdoor wedding.
The next day, the warm Colorado sunshine brought temps into the 50s and our team cleared snow to create space for chairs. Needless to say, the wedding went off without a hitch – and the photos turned out spectacular!
So here’s to sunshine and snow-capped mountains on the wedding day, and a BIG congratulations to these adorable newlyweds!
How gorgeous are these invitations and printed vows? Alex designed them herself! Check out more of her work here: Korynne + Co. Stationery and Design
Upon arrival to The Manor House, guests were greeted with a glass of champagne. Such a lovely way to treat your guests before the ceremony!
The couple kept the overall design of the event simple with black and white throughout. The playful greenery adds a modern twist to this classic look. So pretty!
A note from Alex + Brad:
“You guys are all so incredible and run such an amazing show here! Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for us!! Our friends can’t stop raving about the food, the staff and the venue itself!”
