Dana and Tevan met in college, while running track and field. After graduation, the couple moved to Illinois where Tevan started coaching his own college track and field team. Not long after, on Dana’s 25th birthday, Tevan led her out to the track and proposed to her at the finish line!

The couple knew they’d marry in either Virginia (Dana’s home state) or Colorado (Tevan’s). After researching venues in both, Dana found The Manor House and it was love at first sight.

“The Manor House had the classic and elegant look, plus a view of the mountains that we were looking for,” says Dana. “It was my dream venue, everything I could have asked for and more!”

The couple decided to host a Saturday morning wedding because, well, breakfast is just the best.

“We absolutely love brunch! Breakfast foods are actually one of our favorite meals,” says Dana. “When we found out there was a ‘brunch’ option at The Manor House, we LOVED the idea!”

With the money they saved by hosting the wedding earlier in the day, the couple was able to invest more of their budget in decor, photography and videography.
