Colorado and Texas have a lot in common. We share a ‘Wild West’ history, an affinity for wide open spaces and, of course, an obsession with good Tex Mex. ; )
But did you know that just like Coloradans, Texans LOVE the mountains?
That’s exactly what prompted Houston couple Amanda and Brandon to celebrate the next chapter of their love story in Colorful Colorado.
“The views of the foothills reminded our guests that they truly were in the mountains and just made it feel more like the dream it was,” says Amanda. “All Texans love Colorado!”
Amanda knew most of her vendors before she was engaged, so when she started planning the wedding, she was excited to incorporate their talents.
“When your friends have gifts and use them to love you,” she says, “everyone wins!”
How sweet is THAT?! This wedding has us buzzing with ALL the feel-good vibes.
Amanda and Brandon recently celebrated their one year anniversary. A BIG congratulations to these cuties and cheers to great ‘friendors’!!

“Abbey is a saint. She took my vision and brought it to LIFE and more . . . She brought to life a music and lyrics print of a verse of ‘How Deep the Father’s Love’ that is just as beautiful as it is meaningful. It was the song I walked down the aisle to, and now many of my friends still have the print up in their home! I love it so much.” ~ Amanda
With the help of her brother, Amanda’s dad surprised her with a rendition of their special song – “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle.
“The Manor House was the perfect venue for us because the stately home on a hill is so picturesque; and just as welcoming, cozy, and warm as it is beautiful . . . The staff, the venue, and wonderful vendors made the process so fun and easy – and allowed us space to actually celebrate the start of a marriage instead of stressing over all the small details.” ~ Amanda
