When Austin couple Mallory and Eric started planning their destination wedding, they decided to keep it in the States to maximize guest attendance. Like many of our destination clients, they were drawn to the Denver area for the scenery. To give their guests the best of both worlds, they chose to host the wedding in the foothills and the pre and post-wedding celebrations in the city.
On Friday evening, the couple treated their friends and family to a rehearsal dinner at Beatrice and Woodsley on South Broadway. The following morning, the group headed to the snow-covered hills west of Denver for a mid-morning wedding and brunch reception.
Mallory describes her vision for the February celebration as warm and modern.
“I decided to be a bit bold and go with dried florals and natural colors . . . I mostly saw this style done for warmer seasons, but with a brunch wedding, I knew we could pull it off,” she tells us.
With their design magic, Yonder House brought Mallory’s modern organic dream to life. The team brought in vintage rugs, amber glassware, velvet napkins and earth-toned vases. The result? A super-stylish event with the coziest of vibes.
“The Manor House and Yonder House worked with me every step of the way,” says Mallory. “We never felt lost or overwhelmed. It truly was a perfect day.”
After the reception, Mallory and Eric headed out for an afternoon photo session beginning at nearby Red Rocks Park. They continued on to several locations around downtown Denver and RiNo Arts District.
Later that evening, the newlyweds met their guests for an after party at Poka Lola Social Club in downtown Denver. The couple ended their day just around the corner at Hotel Born.
Mallory and Eric explored so much of the Denver area and truly made an adventure of their destination wedding weekend.
The lovebirds are currently safe and sound in Austin with their fur baby pups Chula and Dobby. We are so excited to share their super-chic wedding on the blog today!
