Snowy Fall Wedding in Navy & Burgundy

It’s a difficult time for so many of our clients, fellow wedding professionals, friends and families. Our heart goes out to everyone experiencing a hardship or disappointment, whatever that looks and feels like for you.

We want you to know that we are here. We are going to continue celebrating togetherness and sending some of our favorite love stories out into the world with the aim of sparking inspiration and hope.

We’ve been thinking a lot lately about dealing with the unexpected. We couldn’t help but think back to Chelsie and Troy’s early October wedding. This Los Angeles couple invited the majority of their guests from Hawaii for a lovely fall wedding in Colorado. They were surely dreaming of all the lovely details that scenario would normally entail. You know . . . crunchy leaves, a cool breeze and the hills covered in warm autumn hues.

But mother nature had other plans. Instead of that dreamy fall afternoon, they got  . . . snow. Lots and lots of snow!

How did they respond to the unexpected weather? They laughed. They played. They even frolicked in the fluffy white powder. They had the BEST day. The pictures below say it all.

Thanks to Chelsie and Troy for reminding us that although things don’t always go as planned, we can choose to respond with an open heart.

We are grateful for everyone in our community who continues to choose kindness, patience and love. Thank you for being here with us. We’ll get through this together.
