Like so many couples’ stories these days, Julie and Matt found love after they “swiped right”. What makes this online dating success story unique is that Julie and Matt got it right on the first try. That’s right, folks. He was her / she was his very first Tinder date!

“It was honestly after the first date I knew he was someone special,” Julie tells us.

Fast forward a few years. When it came time to propose, Matt planned the sweetest surprise for Julie. He invited her to dinner with some of his coworkers. That night, their dinner mates were running late so Matt invited Julie to walk around Washington Park to pass the time. Unbeknownst to her, the dinner plans were fake. Matt proposed to Julie right there in the park. But that’s not all . . .

“He had planned a surprise engagement party with all of my family, our friends and his entire family (who flew out from Philadelphia!),” recalls Julie. “He did an amazing job planning the best surprise ever and made it one of the most memorable days of my life.”

How sweet is that?! 

Julie and Matt were married at The Manor House last August. The wedding day is unforgettably romantic, just like their love story.
